Dean of Students
Dr. Smith is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is experienced in Human Resource and Development focused in the area of Behavior Analysis and Modification. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Masters and doctorate in human resource and development from University of Maryland at College Park. Also, he is a retired, Command Chief Master Sergeant, United States Air Force of 35 years and a Vietnam Veteran. He is a retired engineer from AT&T Telecommunications Company of 30 years. He is an Adjunct professor in the school of social sciences for Community Colleges of North Carolina, chairman of the Business and Education Committee for the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a liaison with Seymour Johnson Airforce Base Community.
