Assistant Principal

 

Greeting Dillard Academy Tigers!  My name is Tasha Christian Adams.  I was raised in Goldsboro NC for most of my life. I am a proud graduate of Goldsboro High School.  I received my Bachelor of Arts from Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) in Elementary Education.  While attending JCSU, I earned an additional certification from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC-Charlotte) in K-12 Mental Disabilities.  I furthered my Education at UNC-Charlotte by earning a Master of Education in Education Administration and Curriculum Supervision.  I also earned my National Boards in Teaching in the area of Exceptional Needs Pre-K through Young Adulthood. Some of my educational experiences include serving as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant Principal, Reading Coordinator, Summer Site Administrator, Assistant Principal and Principal.  I am proud to be an educator of more than thirty and I look forward to working with students and parents so that together we can… catch the wave to academic success!
