My name is Carole Battle. I am a Wayne County school graduate of Central High School class of 1965. I attended Fayetteville State University and East Carolina University. I have a Bachelor's in History and Political Science and a Master's in Administration and Supervision. I am an active member of Zeta Phi Beta sorority, The National Association of University Women , and the Goldsboro Continentals (DACS partner). I am also a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church here in Goldsboro. I like to travel and my favorite place to visit is Paris, France. I am currently serving as a member of the Goldsboro Commission on Community Relations and Development.

I hope this message finds you excited to return to school for the 2023 - 2024 school year. I look forward to welcoming you back on August 28, 2023. Your teachers are eager and excited to teaching and challenging you to reach your greater potential.
It is our mission at Dillard Academy to positively provide a safe and quality education with high expectations so that we can excel and grow.
We are happy to have you enrolled at Dillard Academy. This year you will receive instruction in ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science. In addition to instruction in your core subjects, you will also have Study Island, I-Ready, and Specials.
As your principal, I am committed to provide you with academics based on the NC Standard Course of Study as well as a safe and orderly environment.
I have an open clear policy for all students so if you need to talk to with me, I am always available.
